Community is a long tail play and it takes time to build with conversation is not “Do I need community?”, its “How do I do it & show value?”

It starts with the V2MOM process.

The business alignment has to be right at the start and don’t let anyone go anywhere with the siding tactics of measures & execution.

I) What are You trying to Do?

Community means a lot of things to a lot of people and what exactly are we trying to do.

Such as:

  • Trying to drive down churn & attrition.
  • Trying to bring continuous insights to your Products from your Community.
  • Trying to create stronger deeper relationships with your customers so that you could speak to them more frequently.
  • Trying to have a peer-to-peer deflection (Case Deflection).

So start small & be focused by putting those on the “Hypothesis Matrix”.

Which paves the way for high level “Business Metrics”, “Growth Metrics” & “Health Metrics”.

Never set the expectations with your company or client in whatever aspects of business that you are gonna get because it will be unfair & not true. As…
