The G.O.A.T. at Simplifying Sustainability

A Community Solar Authority Story

“You guys are like the G.O.A.T.S. of sustainability for businesses.”

The words left my best friend's mouth ever so eloquently as I just broke the news that we offset our biggest client yet.

He had said it in passing thought- but those words actually stuck to me.

We were mastering our process for a niche deliverable: a simple way for investors, business owners, and municipalities to step towards sustainability while saving money, without ever having to invest a dollar.

My mentors had told me to build services around systems- and this repeatable process has set us up to scale the impact we make within our local communities.

This particular deal couldn’t have been more seamless.

  • They got us their electric bills into one PDF so we could do a full analysis after an introduction call
  • We met again on Zoom with a Community Solar proposal in our hand ready to execute
  • Their team reviewed the agreement and made the step towards simple sustainability with a couple of signatures.

We successfully lined up a path for this manufacturing company to receive five figures in future solar credits from a maximum offset in the Community Solar world- and the program was going live in the same year. This meant we practically made them instantly more sustainable!

A huge proof of concept for us.

My favorite part of working in the Community Solar space is also its greatest challenge- it sounds too good to be true. We serve as high-level guides to help navigate an easy understanding of the Community Solar opportunity and take care of all of the heavy liftings- as a no-cost service.

Then, we celebrate our clients through PR and tell everyone about the sustainability superstar they’ve become. It’s a fun business to be in.

Especially because we get local businesses access to the same type of agreements that massive corporations are seeking to offset future electric costs.

You know, corporations like Walmart? They signed one of the largest Community Solar deals to date in the summer of 2021 for a reason- it’s the lowest barrier entry to sustainability and has a great impact on your bottom line.

It just so happens our company truly is the G.O.A.T. at serving commercial businesses in the Community Solar world.

Are you opposed to seeing how many solar credits we can line up for you?

It seems this is a no-brainer in 2022.
