They embraced fiercely. She pulled away, her face lit up “Crisps!” She exclaimed.

Her chivalrous companion rummaged through his belongings and drew out a blue bag of Kettle crisps. She made a bird sound “Ka Kawww Ka Kawww” and ventured off to find her husband.

Upon arriving home the furriest member of her family was waiting. Bounding up and down the hallway in sheer anticipation. Tilly, the bundle of joy in her stressful day at the office where she begrudgingly proceeded to skip the process much to her own disappointment, was hungry.

She quickly rustled up a freshly boiled egg and Tilly’s favourite crumbs, which was met by lip smacking licking from her Furry friend, who stared inquisitively while she put down the bowl to nose height. The anticipation was too great, Tilly disobeyed her order to wait and was nose deep in her meal in the blink of an eye

Kirsty couldn’t help but smile at the site. Philip, her lover and lifelong companion greeted her with a hug from behind and a kiss on the cheek. Even years on this still gave her butterflies every time. They stood there in the kitchen enjoying the moment for a short while

Seemingly out of nowhere Kirsty spun around and planted her own kiss on Philip. In the next movement she was out of his arms and behind him.

A rolling rrrrrr sound erupted from her mouth and her hand swung with ambling speed towards Philips bottom, much to his surprise. He exclaimed in shock at what had just happened. Puzzled, he recoiled. This only further encouraged Kirsty who had been looking forward to this for two whole days now. She stepped forward and tapped his bottom again. Again he retreated.

Tilly was finished with her food by this point and had finished her clean up of the bowl, ready for her Mummy’s inspection. Only for her to see such fun happening so close to her

She decided it looked too fun to resist. So she joined in as best she could. Leaping up with playful barks. The whole family were reunited after a hard day’s work.
