Awarding Night COMPFEST 14: Time to Crown the Champions
COMPFEST 14, Jakarta — Awarding Night was held on October 30, 2022, at the Ministry of Industry Building of the Republic of Indonesia. Awarding Night is an award and appreciation event for the winners of the COMPFEST 14 Competition. The Awarding Night ends a two-month-long series of competitions. Participants from all COMPFEST Competition branches, including AI Innovation Challenge, BizzIT, Competitive Programming Competition, Capture the Flag, and Indie Game Ignite, attended this event. This year’s Awarding Night featured performances by ASCIPELLA Fasilkom UI and games with nahtuh.com and Mastercard in addition to the awards ceremony. Let’s see the excitement!
The two MCs, Nabil and Aghniya, opened the event. The ceremony was then followed by remarks from Mr. Syahroni Ahmad, the Head of the General Bureau of the Republic of Indonesia’s Ministry of Industry. Following that, Dr. Ir. Petrus Mursanto, M.Sc, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Indonesia, and Mr. Nasri, Secretary General of ILUNI Fasilkom UI, delivered speeches. The ceremony was closed with statements by Riswanda, the Deputy Chairperson of the BEM Fasilkom UI, and Setasena Randata, the COMPFEST 14 Project Officer.

“I hope that in the future, especially young people, they will continue to make many innovations, don’t hesitate. Because if you want to enter the world of innovation, you must not be afraid of failure,” said Irving Hutagalung, one of the Competition BizzIT judges.
“Especially when brainstorming, the three of us combine ideas from each other. Then later, realizing that (idea) into an application, a lot of things were explored, “said the Shingeki no Data team, AI Innovation Challenge Champion, when talking about their experience participating in the COMPFEST Competition. “From the beginning to qualifying for the final, it was very memorable and gave me a lot of experience. Hopefully, next year COMPFEST can be even better,” they added.
COMPFEST will present the Main Event on November 12, 2022 at the University of Indonesia Hall. This year, you can participate in the excitement at the end of the COMPFEST event through a series of COMPFEST Talks, Job and Intern Fairs, and Playground Challenge events.
