The Complete Farmer model has been revamped to suit Digital Farmers and Buyers' needs and user experience. You may be wondering what these terms stand for. Digital Farmers farm digitally and monitor their farm activities from their mobile devices. They get to choose a buyer of their choice from a selection of vetted buyers on the platform to sell their harvested yields to. They also get insights and real-time monitoring of the farming process from land preparation to post-harvest results.
Buyers on the other hand are the procurers of the produce from Digital Farmers. Buyers can procure crops from wherever they are in the world.
These buyers have the opportunity to source commodities from DigiFarmers that meet their specifications without having to consult middlemen. As a buyer, you get your commodity directly from the source. You can monitor the whole process from order to delivery. You even get the quality control and yield reports from renowned 3rd party auditors — all on a centralized app. You can also build an entire supply chain from the farm to your preferred location.
The Digifarmer dashboard:
The improved DigiFarmer has been equipped with exciting features including Farm Board; which presents continuous updates of farming activities like irrigation and fertilizer application; Farm Wallet which provides insights into farming finances including farm expenses and financial details of Digifarmer; Marketplace which enables direct trade between Digifarmers and Buyers; Warehouse where DigiFarmers get to know current crops in stock, their weight, number of bags, and yield conditions; and Farm View, where the DigiFarmer can view the real-time state of their farm via satellite images, and other information like weather, daily farm tasks, crop health, scheduled events on the farm, and farm managers’ updates.
The Buyer dashboard:
The buyer platform also brings onboard some informative and guiding features to its dashboard. From Crop Specification to Payment Options, Shipping Options, Packaging Options, and Price & Verification. It cannot get any more readily comprehensible than this extensive end-to-end transparency.
In addition to the new Buyer and Digifarmer dashboards, we have developed a new model for growers on the platform. This model equips farmers with modern technologies and proprietary cultivation protocols developed by Complete Farmer. This will enable them to grow crops to meet the strict export market demands and requirements. Due to the modern tools and demonstrated resultful production processes that this model provides, farmers who sign up become competitive in their respective value chains.
