Getting Started with Compumatrix!
STEPS IN JOINING THE COMPUMATRIX COMMUNITY — Compumatrix Decentralized Asset Portal (CDAP), Compumatrix Bitshares Cloud DEX , Compumatrix Forum and Compumatrix Discord Channel
~CREATING YOUR CDAP ACCOUNT~
Go to https://www.compumatrix.com/ to sign up for your own CDAP and digital asset wallet.
Your chosen username must be at least 5 characters long and for security a password with at least 16 characters.
It is recommended that you use a gmail email address as that seems to give less problems with bounced or blocked correspondence.
(store username and password in a safe place, preferably on a jump drive with other important information you will be creating as you move through the steps of your membership here.)
PLEASE remember that you must fill out your profile when you register in order to receive your confirmation email!
Once you successfully create your account, you will receive an email confirmation. Always check your spam mail folder as some have a way of ending up there. Click on the link in the email that will take you back to your sign in page. Use the email address and your created password to sign into your account
- You have one opportunity to fill out all your profile information before the profile is locked.
- Should you need to change any information in your profile please contact either Erline, Gail, or Liz with the information you need to change.
You will be required (for verification) to send a copy of your current picture ID to either Erline, Gail, or Liz. It will be safely stored offline. Update as it becomes outdated.
~Setting up your Compumatrix DEX Cloud Account~
(It is recommended not to keep all your funds in just one Dex Cloud account as your accounts grow)
To create your Compumatrix Cloud account Go to https://www.compumatrix.co/?r=compumatrix# (bookmark this site)
Enter your details:
1. Enter your chosen username in the dark field.
2. A long Password is given to you. Click on the blue box beside it and it will copy. (keep this on your jump drive along with the username) Opening a word doc and entering them into the document Is an easy way to save. Once you have collect all the information you desire you can close out your jump drive and put it in a safe place.
3. Paste the password in the black area by clicking in the area then right click and chose to paste.
4. You must click in this box to agree that you understand what happens if you lose your password.
5. You must click in this box to agree that you understand no one can recover your password if you lose or forget it.
6. You must click in this box to assert that you have safely stored your password.
Click on “create account” — store your username and password in at least two safe places off your computer!!
~How to check, collect and save your private keys~
- Ensure your blue lock is unlocked by looking at the top right corner: if you see the lock is closed, click on it and enter your password. This must always be unlocked to do anything in your account!
2. Click in the three horizonal bars beside the lock:
3. From the drop-down menu that comes up next, choose “settings”
4. Click on “account” in the list on the left side of page:
5. Click on “view keys”
6. Collect your PRIVATE KEYS from both the “Active Permissions” and the “Owners Permissions” areas:
· Click on the Active Permissions tab
· Click on the BLUE long number/characters with a key to the left
· On the next box that comes up click on “show”
· On the next window that comes up, copy the PRIVATE KEY where red arrow is pointing:
· Repeat the process for the OWNERS PRIVATE KEY under the Owners permissions tab.
VERY IMPORTANT to save these two PRIVATE KEYS with your username and password in at least two SAFE places OFF your computer!

This is one area that new memberships are entered manually because we were experiencing unwanted and uninvited spammers.
Therefore, once you reach this step have the person who brought you in to contact one of the moderators to get you signed up.
You will need to use the same username as you used In Creating your CDAP account and you will be assigned to one of the region groups determined by where you live.
So, gather the username and TEMPORARY password you want to use and contact the person who brought you to Compumatrix, so they can pass it on to an Administrator. *note* you can change the password once you are signed in.
