Furthering the model
In order to show paths on the model, I have laser cut acrylic pieces to fit in each room of the model. Under these laser cut pieces are mini vibrating discs, which will vibrate together to show a path. As the user feels the model, only the pieces along the path they wish to follow will vibrate. Holes are cut in the centre of each acrylic piece to fit the photo-resisters.
When a user finds their desired destination, a button is used to trigger the vibration, which lasts for 10 seconds. This gives the user time to trace a path along the model.
The next step is to incorporate the photo-resisters and audio into the model. So far, I have been able to trigger the required audio files with buttons, however it has been difficult to repeat this with photo-resisters. I predict that this is a simple coding problem, which I can hopefully fix soon.
