Passengers: the future of medicine

On the movie passengers, we have a scene, which you can see it here, a robot is a doctor. It is a chamber that applies treatments. This chamber can make what a medical doctor would do, but, using artificial intelligence.
After almost losing her friend Jim[1], Aurora decides to resuscitate him using an automated chamber that can apply medical doctor treatments. The chamber is designed to apply all sort of diagnoses and medical treatments. It is called auto-doctor. The good question is how far are we from automatic medical treatments.
