Damn, AMPPS

AMPPS not starting Apache in Mavericks? Fixed (kinda).

A little bit of an update on finally upgrading to Mavericks—AMPPS, the popular server stack used and beloved by many, stopped working on many levels. MySQL runs perfectly fine, but Apache stubbornly refuses to run. No. Matter. What.

All of that is history when I realized that I could start Apache manually (got to admit, I’m a little slow on Friday evenings):

Apache runs without a hitch. However, you should not expect to be able to start, stop or restart the server from AMPPS itself, but only through terminal.

Perhaps the AMPPS team will be fixing this soon. How soon? I don’t know.
