Computes.io Running on Intel ComputeStick
Have you seen the new Intel ComputeStick?! It’s a quad-core PC (Windows / Linux) that fits in your pocket and attaches to your TV/monitor using HDMI. I had a chance to install the computes.io supercomputer client software on the Linux version of the Intel ComputeStick and it ran flawlessly!
Once installed, computes.io will detect that the Intel ComputeStick has 4 cores and it will spawn 4 individual computes cores attached to the computes.io supercomputer and await for further instructions.
In the demo shown in the video, I used the computes.io nextprime function to look for the next prime number in a map reduce like fashion. Here’s the code:
What will you build using your computes.io supercomputer?!
