Comunev, a social networking company behind many interest-based communities, aims to connect like-minded people having the same interest. Now, you might have this question in your mind how we conduct events, organise it and what do we need to do to make it worthwhile and yield results?
Whenever any event is to be conducted a team of specialised personnel is on their elbows to make it amazing than before which includes all the planning, organising, executing and controlling processes and thus, enjoying their accomplishment at the end.
Event Operations Department of Comunev is solely responsible for managing and organising the event. All the great elements we see at an event is thanks to their efforts and creativity which is one of its kind. One must understand it’s not an easy task to emerge with an event and make it worth remembering. One should be updated to their surroundings, proficient in technical terms, should know what the audience wants and so on.
Event operations department follows a number of steps before making a wonderful impression on the audience through the events. These include deciding an event first, searching for a speaker and organiser, designing posters and description for the event, promotion of the event on social media platforms, and some more routine steps which form the backbone of organising and conducting an event. Once all these things are over, we can say one is ready to go on with the event.
Our team works with great passion as it is one of the most important pillars which form our very existence. Each member of the team has their own working experience and thoughts after joining the event operations. Some of them are;
“I was curious about what is happening behind the scene in any event and how one makes it memorable. People attend events but only see the face of it. That face is made by us. We makeover the face externally as well as internally and put life in the events to make people feel connected to us.
After joining event operations, I am able to understand who and what type of audience we are trying to reach out? How can I manage and create something which will make them rejuvenate? For me, it’s an awesome experience to freely work on an entire project and take decisions. This has helped me in learning how important it is to stay connected with people and the importance of teamwork.”

Conducting an event is not sufficient. Nothing is perfect in one go. But one can try to make something perfect by taking feedback. After completion of an event, a team responsible for taking feedback have to work diligently and should ask the participants about how was the event or what was lacking? After all this hustle, an event is improved for the next time and the team gets back to work to make it even better for the audience.
