We, Comunev, are here again with the next question in our FAQ series blog.

  • Do we have to complete the tasks on a daily basis or will there be a definite period to complete a number of given tasks?

Here we go. Be with us…

To start with, the internship is for the Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) profile. The profile offers diverse projects where each project will help you to hone your personality and skills in a specific area.

Candidates can choose as many projects as they wish to work on simultaneously if they can handle the tasks and bifurcate their time efficiently and effectively. You will be allowed to change your project after a period of one month (not altering the number of projects one can opt).

Note:- To know more about the projects follow our Connect with Comunev series blogs.

First goals

To adhere to a deadline you must have a goal to pursue. When you start working with us first, you will be introduced to your team. You can clear your responsibilities, doubts and know-how regarding your concerned project with your teammates or guide.

The starting goals and tasks will be provided either by the team itself or if you are the only one in the project the concerned co-founder will guide you along the way. Once you understand what you are expected to do you will be given the freedom to formulate your own project goals.

Note:- Every project has defined monthly goals which get renewed after the completion of one month. Goals are curated by the co-founders but after deliberation with that project team.

In the process of learning and experimenting ideas if you stumbled over an issue then don’t feel disheartened. There’s always someone you can look up to. It can be your teammates or co-founders.

Deadlines?

If you have started something you must put an end to it. The deadlines are also decided when you are about to perform a task for the completion of an overall goal.

The deadlines are fixed according to the task you have to perform. It’s okay if you missed a deadline sometimes but it’d be wise of you to tell the concerned person in advance. The deadline is not only meant to finish the task beforehand but with maximum optimisation and efficiency.

To monitor if every project is progressing as anticipated and achieving their respective goals a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly project meeting is conducted. In the meeting, all the problems, their solutions and future course of action are discussed. The team brainstorms as to how we can improve the work, bring new ideas, start new experiments and achieve the goals.

It’s not how much time you have given to complete a task that matters. On the contrary, what matters is how much you have accomplished in a given timeframe and at what cost.

Comunev trusts you when we hire you. Once we hand over the responsibilities to you, we don’t double-check your steps thereon. We believe in freedom and the space to experiment. If you keep on bringing new ideas and improving things, you’ll love the smooth sailing in this internship.
