Dear enthusiasts, how are you? Are you looking for an opportunity?

We are very sure that you all are keen on finding out the opportunities you will be getting before committing to a task or role. So, when a candidate asked this question, “What are the opportunities I’d get to learn and get the exposure from a particular project? What are your points or expectations in this regard from a new intern?”, we thought it is a valid question!

So, in our FAQ series, we will be answering this question.

Let’s keep it simple.

It’s not only the project that will give you the exposure and opportunity. On the contrary, the day you apply for the role will be the day you start to learn a lot of things without actually beginning work with us. Yes, we are talking about our selection process.

You will learn when going through the selection process, that the questions we ask are not ordinary. It’s something which will make you think who you truly are and what different ways you can choose to come up with the solutions.

Moving forward…

Opportunities you are talking about?

Every project has something to give you. You only need to give some time and dedication to your chosen project. Though learning is the byproduct of not letting go off an opportunity and availing maximum benefit from it. Still, opportunities come in varied forms.

  1. Idea generation

As already described in our previous FAQ blogs, you will be given the freedom to work on your ideas. If you believe it’s something that needs to be done then do it and inform us later. We greatly appreciate such kinds of gestures where you thrive to transcend your limits.

  1. Benefits of teamwork

You will be working not in isolation but as a team. This way you will surely believe in the famous saying ‘Unity is strength’. You will have to coordinate with other teammates and also with other project teams.

When you work in a team, your rewards are tied with that of the team but the benefits of growing and learning with the team help you achieve more yourself.

2. Problem-solving

You will also learn how to solve problems. Comunev is new and full of mistakes. It’s partly also because we keep on doing so many experiments with new ideas. And these problems keep on piling up in our To-Do list. This situation will always push you to break your limits and come up with something which no one had thought before.

3. Meetings

What? How can a meeting be an opportunity? We don’t even attend online school/college lectures. Just kidding.

At Comunev, a meeting has the trio objective. First, to remove the communication gap between teammates. Second, to keep a track of your progress and third, discussing problems and their solutions.

Project meetings are conducted either weekly or bi-weekly considering how big a project is. Meetings are a great source, too, to discuss your ideas and talking in-depth on the pros and cons of it. At meetings, you will directly receive the feedback from the co-founder so in this way you will learn and gain a wider understanding of how to proceed with an idea or a problem in future.

4. Meeting deadlines

Are you someone who meets deadlines on time? Or, are you someone who thinks that they have a habit of slacking off? Not to worry. Everyone does that once in a while.

When you are in a project, you will automatically start to see the changes within. You will become more organised, fulfilling and responsive. Why? Because you choose your project as per your interest and when it comes to your interest and learning from it, you won’t slack off.

Also, when you meet deadlines you prevent your work from being accumulated in future and you get enough time to work on other important things, whether personal or work-related. And for the most important thing of all, some time to learn something new.

Some other things worth mentioning,

✓ There’s no rigid time frame. You can choose the most productive hours of the day and do what matters the most. Hurrah to flexible timings!

✓ You will also get an opportunity to lead an entire weekly meeting. Yes, you will be a leader. But not in a sense who will give orders but in a way who will coordinate everything from start to end. There’s more to it but, for now, fill your bellies with starters only.

Some wise words

Our expectations? In this internship, you are the only one who will make it worth remembering. We will be there for you whenever you need help but we greatly appreciate the ambition where you accept a challenge or embrace your shortcomings and work on it. We want you to be independent and solve things with your own hands. This way you will feel more proud of your achievements and we will always remember you for that.

With every opportunity, you create or take, there comes exposure to it. Whatever project you will choose, what matters the most is how much you can make of it and what different insights you can bring in to leave everyone amazed and appreciate your efforts.

There’s not much to say now. Even if there’s anything else, we don’t want to spoil the essence of it by putting it into blatant words. It’s worth it to experience it with your own eyes and then say, thank God we joined. (This is an article written completely independently by an EIR, by the way)

So, if you believe that this is something you are made for and want to experience it, then we will always welcome you onboard.

We know it’s still not clear to you, though, who we are. So, to gain a better understanding and joining with us in this journey of discovery do follow Comunev blogs and us on different social media platforms.

It’d be our pleasure if, coming this far you have felt somewhat connected to us, you could show your appreciation by giving us a clap. This would truly help us to understand what your motivations are. Till then, see you next week.
