The Concave Echo is a weekly newsletter where we recap the most recent developments in Concave Finance, while highlighting some of the amazing contributions from the community. Now without further ado, let us get started!

Core AMA
On December 18th, Concave had its very first team AMA with the community. Miners waited with anticipation and excitement for this historic moment, wondering about the Alpha that would rain down onto the stage. Organizers created a channel where miners could ask questions, and the questions with the most reactions would be picked for the Core team to answer in the AMA.
Over 500 people gathered in the Discord and Twitch. Miners spread good vibes as they waited, syncing together to finally understand what all of the hard work spent on mining meant. The AMA finally started, and what everybody witnessed in that hour embodied the WAGMI culture. Alpha was given, energy levels were off the charts, and in that moment, everyone understood what Concave embodied. Every single miner gathered in the cave, celebrating a collective vision that together, we could be unstoppable. Concave would be nothing without it’s community. Relive the experience here.

Concave Concubator
Recently, Concave introduced a new initiative called the Concubator. The Concubator is a set list of channels on the ConcaveFi server that allows miners to post their ideas and find likeminded miners who can help create proposals out of them. If an operator sees promise in your idea, they will help you flesh out your amazing ideas and make them a reality. We believe in empowering community members to speak out and help them to turn thoughts into action. Concave is only as strong as its community, and we are focused on bringing your talents and concepts to life.
The Concubator channels that are currently available are Policy, Engineering, Design, and Event. If you have any ideas, start posting them in the Concubator channels today. We look forward to seeing what you have to offer!
Team Interview with Jman
A strong community needs a strong core, a nd the mining core has been busy at work getting Concave Finance to be a powerhouse in the DeFi space. We wanted to drop by and have a short interview with Jman, one of our core members of operations.
What is your background?
I master in the art of memes along with heavy involvement in the IT field, I am a administrator of sorts and my passion is making things happen — Jack of all trades. As of recently I took a big passion for helping teams build and helping build amazing communities co-operatively.
How did you learn about Concave?
From the inception of the idea, Epik, VoKe, and myself have been friends for many years. We’ve gamed and worked together on several projects. We always find time to ideate on the crypto space and we saw a big opportunity to drive value back to our favorite community and project — OlympusDAO.
What are your personal hobbies?
I love being active; being outdoors is a big passion for me. Growing up, I always found myself in the Atlantic Ocean snorkeling, fishing, and just relaxing. Over the past 3 years I’ve really involved myself in scuba diving locally and it’s truly become my favorite hobby. It really helps to relief the mind after stressful work days.
How do you envision Concave in the future?
I envision a mythical community that shines in the OHM Ecosystem. I’ve always loved the good vibes from the OHMies, what we have all created at Concave is inspiring and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
What is a goal that you would like to achieve?
I would love to achieve helping build an amazing CO-OP that functions lean and agile. We have a lot of highly skilled contributing members, the core vision is truly bright and I can’t wait to see the well oiled machine that will be Concave — The Builder CO-OP driving value back to OHM.
Concave NFTs
Continuing on from our amazing NFT launches last week, we want to make sure each Concave NFT collection receives the proper attention it deserves. Because of this, we are spacing out each NFT project and giving more spotlight to each of these community collaborations. We have two NFT projects release this week. The NFT collections are created by community members who joined together to make these projects possible. Once the collection is made, the community lets the Concave team handle the release in exchange for a portion of the funds that are sent to the Concave treasury. This collaboration signifies the core tenet of Concave, Coopetition. Here is a graphic showcase of each of these amazing projects.

Miner of the Week
This week’s Miner of the Week goes to Coussins, a kind and active community member who has helped a tremendous amount as a philosopher and policy contributor. We wanted to stop by and learn more about Coussins and what he does with the Concave community.
Coussins is 25 years old. He is a French expatriate in Canada where he lives between Toronto and Montreal! He is quite the scholar; he has an MBA in Digital Marketing and is a consultant for some NFT projects that need help with their marketing! He learned about concave through a friend’s discord and decided to get involved because he didn’t want to miss what seemed to be the opportunity of the century!
Coussins mainly spends his time in the Concave speaking in the French op channel, and he likes to read all the philosophical and poetic writings that our community writes. As a community member, he helps out some friends in the French community to improve their writings so that they can get roles.
Coussins helps out a great deal with the documentation of the French representation, and he tries to structure the translation and content improvement. For the role policy, he helps out other community members to make sure that people don’t lose hope for the role and works to improve everyone’s content to be the best possible and the most eligible for the role of Policy.
Concave Manifesto
One of our brilliant community members Mithrandir wrote a compelling manifesto that touched the hearts of all the miners who spent their sweat and hard work mining in the Concave. The Concave manifesto talks about the dreams, vision, and core values of the community. It talks about the symbol of the spoon, the essence of coopetition, what our community represents, and much more. Here is an excerpt that poignantly describes what Concave is all about.
“We, the people of Concave, are something new.
We are beyond the distinctions of the past, for we live at the edge of time.
We are not capitalist, we are not communist, we are not left, we are not right, we are not a company, we are not a DAO. We are not a country, we are not a government.
We are a Co-Op, we are a spoon”

Other Community Contributions
The Community Contribution section is a place where we celebrate some of the amazing work of our mining community. Here are some of the brilliant projects that our community has created this past week.
China-op Newsletter
Apparently Concave Echo isn’t our only community run newsletter. The china-op has been on fire recently, and they have created their own newsletter detailing the community events that are going on in the language channel. The newsletter contain channel discussions, channel memes, and china-op community events. They even have a English version of the newsletter contained in the document. All of this is happening in one language channel! Please give China-op some love by reading their newsletter here.
Poetry Corner
One new channel that has been created recently in the Concave Server is the Akashic Library, a place where skilled poets come together to write some amazing poetry for Concave. Miners who have created poetry worthy of the Concave name will receive the poet role. Here is a touching poem made by Mikethinkofagoodname#8750
A Poet’s life for me
“Akash you say! A Poet’s way.
A Poem written by hand or key
Will win the role most dear to me
Through night and morn
Till dusty dawn
In coloured caves
And spoony ways
With widened eyes, to our surprise
Ten likes appear, our time is near!
We brace ourselves, but can it be
Above my name a poet I see
Now by the fire, bards laugh play lyre
We dance and giggle, and some may wiggle
