On the 24th of January 2011, Adele performed her brand new album 21 for the first time.

Upon walking through the doors at the tiny Tabernacle in Notting Hill, the excitement of seeing her up close was palpable.

She walked out on the small, simple and dimly lit stage, cup of tea in hand, and captured every single one of us.

She sang, performed and chatted away. We smiled. listened and clapped.

We shared knowing glances, tacitly communicating that we were experiences something truly magical.

i had such a brilliant time, i was nervous, excited, teary but over the moon! here’s the photograph i took…

Adele summing up how she felt after the performance.

I couldn’t agree with her more. Above all, I won’t forget the person that was there with me or the occasion. You know who you are and what you mean to me.
