Concordium’s Founder Lars Seier Christensen takes an expanded role in Concordium
Concordium, the layer-1 blockchain company, has announced that Lone Fønss Schrøder will step down from the CEO position and instead join the Board of the Concordium Foundation.
Meanwhile, Concordium founder and chairman Lars Seier Christensen will play a more active role in Concordium as it gears up for further expansion and user adoption.

Øverlay, the first RegDeFi token launchpad on Concordium ready for mass adoption
The Beta-test whitelisting of Overlay, the first Regulated Decentralised Finance (RegDeFi) token launchpad on Concordium, has been successful with over 800 more whitelists being filled.
Overlay and Concordium partnered with the goal to help protect users from fraud within a decentralised structure and currently over 300 testers have helped Overlay in getting ready to go live. More are joining every day as testers receive Overlay token $OVL, USDC and CCD in advance.

The Concordium blockchain contributes to Danish Transmission Energinet’s new granular green energy certificate
Concordium contributes to part of the solution in the Danish state owned transmission company Energinet’s new solution where blockchain technology must guarantee the credibility of Energinet’s green energy certificates.
The central element of the solution is energy certificates, which on a granular level link the production of energy with consumption. In the collaboration, a registration method for power production and power consumption has been developed, which for the first time makes it possible for companies to document exactly how much of their power consumption comes from green power and with timestamps.

Concordium announces a global partnership with SONIO to deliver a highly efficient and cost-saving application innovating the travel industry by streamlining the hotel guest registration process
SONIO, a product of Advanced Living Technologies and a partner of Deutsche Telekom, is a unique platform working as an IDaaS (Identity as a Service) to improve the customer verification process and eliminate the need for lengthy and costly administrative operations.

Concordium and Arivu partner to Combat Greenwashing with Blockchain Verification
Concordium announces it is partnering with Arivu, a Blockchain-as-a-Service (BaaS) provider that specialises in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting verification. The partnership aims to tackle the growing issue of greenwashing by providing companies with verified ESG data, evidence, and assurance.
Arivu’s platform leverages blockchain verification to reduce costs and minimise effort when it comes to audit and compliance, representing a more cost-effective and efficient way for companies to report ESG data and do their part in the fight against climate change.

The Last Yard: Foundational End-to-End Verification of High-Speed Cryptography
It presents a framework for end-to-end formal verification of efficient cryptographic implementations.
HACS 2023
COBRA researcher Diego Aranha and Bas Spitters have been invited to the HACS 2023 workshop taking place from March 30 to 31 in Tokyo, Japan.
The Workshop on High Assurance Crypto Software (HACS) was launched in 2016 as an annual event bringing the world’s best cryptographic developers (from open source and industry) together with top experts in formal verification and high assurance methodologies. The goal is to foster collaborations towards making cryptographic software flawless. Further details here and here.
