Team Concordium is proud to announce that we have expanded our academic presence bringing on a new strategic research partner: the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. This global initiative now supports 3 university partners to further accelerate academic research, tech development, and innovation in blockchain, IGAs, and cryptography.

We already are enjoying cross-departmental collaboration and academic activity among faculty and post-doctoral students from our partners at Aarhus University, ETH Zurich, and now the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.

The academic relationship between Concordium and the Indian Institute of Science is led by Chaya Ganesh.

Dr. Ganesh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Automation at the Indian Institute of Science . Before joining IISc, she was a post-doctoral researcher in the Crypto group at Aarhus University. She received her Ph.D. from NYU’s Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Her research interests are in Cryptography and Security. Her focus has broadly been on questions in zero-knowledge proof systems, consensus protocols, blockchain applications, and subversion resilient cryptographic primitives and protocols.

Concordium is a science-driven startup with a strong research background in the following fields: cryptographic primitives, zero-knowledge proofs, cybersecurity, blockchain, identity governance, and many more.
