5 Workshops Not to be Missed at smileexpo

It’s that time of year again! Tomorrow, simply-communicate are hosting their smileexpo 2017 at etc venues in London. The whole day event is a unique blend of 12 workshops, designed to up-skill you and your team on the innovations in ‘social media in the large enterprise’.

Tomorrow’s agenda has been announced via the simply app, available for download for attendees and sponsors. Given the format of the day, it is impossible to attend every workshop. Therefore, to help you out, we are sharing which sessions we’ll be going to.

We are thrilled that the day will be kicking off with a keynote which we can’t miss. Matt James, Head of Solutions Scouting at RBS and Julien Lesaicherre, Director (EMEA) at Workplace by Facebook will join simply-communicate’s Marc Wright on stage to open the dialogue for the day ahead of the expo workshops.

11am: Social amplification — John Philips, ClarityDW

Do employees need a tool that helps them retweet the company twitter account? John thinks they do — and we’re looking forward to his workshop to find out why.

12pm: Analytics in the Workplace — Stéphane Baudin, Grytics

Everyone wants to know more about Workplace by Facebook, and we think Stéphane’s workshop, on how to use analytics to monitor and leverage Workplace, could be key to a deeper understanding of the overall potential of the platform.

2pm: The Rise of the Bot in Internal Comms — Sharon O’Dea

Everyone’s talking about them but will chat-bots transform the way people interact with online services? In this session, Sharon will shed some light on the tech trend and the potential applications in the digital workplace.

3.30pm: How to Put Social at the Heart of your Intranet — Verity Cash, apetito

Learn how a leading food manufacturer launched their first ever social intranet. Verity will be sharing the journey, from idea to launch, to driving on-going adoption — this session will be packed with insights into getting the most value from a new platform.

4.30pm: The Adoption Maze — Naomi Venables

This looks fun. An interactive activity that brings alive the new ways of working required to get colleagues in your company to support your new collaborative platform or social intranet.
