Automatic page layout

We quietly introduced this improvement to the editor about a month ago.

Why? Because it’s one of those things only noticeable when something doesn’t work.

Like a power outage. You only discern the existence of electricity when it’s gone. #firstworldproblems

Every day we use to get support tickets directly linked to this, yet no change was made for years.

It was a big pain-point for some users. A customer once had to change an airplane ticket because they just couldn’t figure it out…oooops 😳

I’m talking about the page layout that’s used to generate a PDF document with custom-sized badges.

In the past some people didn’t even change the page layout at all, this is what generated a lot of frustration, they expected to editor to do it automatically. Now it does.

We have substantially reduced receiving customer complaints about this and we’re happy our users didn’t even notice the change, that means electricity is up and running.
