Social Marketing Review: August 2021

Moments before I started writing this month’s review, I saw something horrible.

I won’t repost it here. But the UK fashion brand PrettyLittleThing just posted their 9/11 tribute. And it’s grim.

It’s basically a graphic overlaid with some words, but they’ve done it in their own font and colours. So rather than coming across as a sober tribute, it seems to be making it about them. I guess I’ll talk more about it in September’s review, but it’s just… ugh. I really hate this industry sometimes.
