How do you layer your composites?

Composite layering is difficult, but by using various enamel and dentin shades, biomimetics can be achieved.

In this example, using a palatal shelf, dentine layer, 3 enamel shades, and an incisal high translucency layer, you can see how we could go about obtaining life-like results for your patients.

Also note the long bevel (>2mm) on the buccal aspect, to obtain a seamless transition.
