3rd Party (external) APIs
User can include external APIs in your app while creating ANY API for your project within API Builder. At present, you can readily integrate Facebook, Foursquare, Instagram and YouTube APIs in your app — and this list is continuously growing. You can also include any custom 3rd party API by providing the URl.
Take a look at the quick steps below to get started!
Step 1: Setup the input information
- While creating any API, add a block for API Connector.
- After selecting API service, you have to generate an Authentication token.
- For the custom API, you don’t have to get Authenticated. You can add Headers and select API method (such as Get, Post, Put) accordingly.
- You have to provide with the API Method and input params.
Step 2: Test the give information
Mention the required parameters in order to execute the API.
Step 3: Step the output format
- Specify the key (Single/Multiple).
- Select the output parameters you need (you would see all these selected parameters in finish block).
- Show the response of the API.
