Who are you, Miguel?
My name is Miguel. I am originally from South America, lived in London for 15 years, and relocated to Continental Europe in late 2019. Worked in the catering and hospitality industry for 9 years and now 6 years in IT. Studied Physics and Music. I got involved with Linux and OpenSource in the late 1990s. Back in the day, P2P networks were famous. Therefore Blockchains are typically managed by a peer-to-peer network.
What do you do in Confio?
I manage, optimize and configure the cloud infrastructure. Keeping the background services and applications up and running 99.99% of the time and being part of design and architect any upcoming projects ( testnets )
Could you describe how your work is like at Confio?
Confio has given me the opportunity to architect and design the cloud infrastructure, following best practices and a ton of experience from previous roles. Also, it is a good place that allows me to be 100% remote and flexible with my schedule.
What have you learned with Confio?
Deep dive on blockchain networks, Proof of Stake, Proof of Work, Game theory, among other concepts.
What do you like about working at Confio in General?
Work with Kain and Misang. 🙂 Be a part of something new. Basically, a pioneer of a new concept that is coming over.
