Happy New Year to our incredible community! We’re starting the year with our first progress report. In terms of our achievements, we have made significant progress over the past month. Our team has announced the upcoming launch of our Bitcoin L2 and shared our roadmap. Additionally, we have implemented several improvements to our tools and established new partnerships.
As we continue into this new year, we remain committed to pushing boundaries in the blockchain space. We sincerely thank you all for being part of this incredible journey with us. 🙏
Public Chain:
- Released Conflux node version v2.3.4 to enhance performance.
- Prepared for the next hardfork, which includes the BTC L2 space and EIP1559-compatible transactions.
- Made progress on the decentralized storage project.
- Addressed multiple reported issues.
Scan:
- Optimized cross-space related information on eSpace and added support for a gas price tracker.
- Improved stability for the data prune service.
- Successfully launched BTC L2 space on the development network.
Confura:
- Enhanced system throughput for the CFX bridge service.
- Added support for downgrading the transaction relay service.
- Implemented a circuit break mechanism when the fullnode RPC was unavailable.
- Isolated the fullnode cluster to enable DApp access.
SwiftShield:
- Released V0.1.3 beta.
- Conducted a UI Refactoring Review.
- Developed V1.0.0.
Tools:
- Successfully deployed Gnosis-wallet-web to eSpace, enabling the seamless creation and management of multi-signature contract accounts. You can access the website at https://safe.conflux123.xyz.
Partnerships:
• The “2024 Kunshan New Year Shopping Festival” is currently underway. Participants can collect puzzle NFTs featuring the character “福” to create limited-edition NFTs and have a chance to win exciting prizes, including the Surface Laptop 5. These NFTs have been minted on the Conflux network.
• Blockchain associations from Fudan University, Beihang University, and Qingdao University have issued their commemorative NFTs on the Conflux network.
• We-Block at Shanghai Foreign Language School celebrated the school’s 60th-anniversary carnival with POAPs. These POAPs, integrated with NFC wristbands, allowed users to receive an NFT on the Conflux network by simply tapping their phones close to the wristband.
• The Shui Finance Public Testnet was launched on the Conflux network, introducing SHUI airdrops and rewards through the Aki Protocol. This expansion of our ecosystem enhances its capabilities.
• We have partnered with Aspecta and UHack for the Web 3 University World Hackathon, representing a significant collaboration in the field of educational technology and innovation.
• A strategic partnership has been formed with Block Booster, an emerging venture studio in Asia, to strengthen our market presence and collaborative efforts in the region.
Community Highlights:
• Our Holiday Quest, in collaboration with Swappi, Nucleon, Goledo, and Maneki-Meow, was completed. We announced the winners and distributed all the prizes.
• As part of our monthly X Spaces series, “The Innovator Hub”, we organized a session centered around “Building Sustainable Global Connectivity with Blockchain.” The World Mobile team & IoTeX joined us to discuss the application of blockchain technology for inclusive and sustainable global connectivity.
• In an AMA session hosted by our French community, we had the pleasure of welcoming Eric Chan, the founder of Maneki-Meow.
PR & Events:
- Dr. Guang Yang, our Research Director, recently gave a speech at the “SINOHOPE 2023 Partners Conference” which we co-hosted in Hong Kong. The topic of the speech was “Conflux Network’s Path to Mass Adoption,” highlighting our progress toward achieving widespread blockchain adoption.
- This past month we also provided our community with a detailed overview of our accomplishments and milestones from the year 2023.
