Highlights:
🚀 Developed and tested the next hardfork.
🤝 Welcomed new partnerships with Mengli Carnival, OpenFlux Marketplace, PoPP Web3 Lab, Cwallet, and others.
🎉 Attended many events throughout June, including GM Vietnam, Vietnam Rust Hackathon, Encrypted Conference in Kiev, BUIDL Hour Event, Proof Of Collabs event, and New Era of GameFi Summit.
Infrastructure
Updates on the Public Chain:
- Completed development and testing of the next hardfork.
- Released public testnet version v2.4.0-testnet.
RPCs & SDK:
- Implemented Geth-style debug trace methods for eSpace: debug_traceTransaction, debug_traceCall, debug_traceBlockByHash, and debug_traceBlockByNumber.
- Completed Core Space SDK support for hardfork v2.4.
- Updated documentation related to the next hardfork.
Partnerships
- Xinmin Evening News reported that the Shanghai Tree-Graph Blockchain Research Institute represents China at the forefront of international computer science competitions.
- The People’s Daily Overseas Edition highlighted the Tree-Graph Blockchain as a world-class public blockchain developed by the Tsinghua “Yao Class” team.
- AnchorX joined the Belt and Road delegation organized by China’s Ministry of Commerce and Hong Kong’s CEDB BRO, signing MoUs with the Astana International Financial Center Authority and Aral Petroleum Capital in Kazakhstan. AnchorX enhanced cross-border trade and business activities between Hong Kong and Belt and Road countries with the AxHKD stablecoin issued on the Conflux Network.
- The OpenFlux Marketplace, the first NFT marketplace on Conflux eSpace, has officially launched, welcoming millions of artists. Users can now explore and join the next wave of NFT innovation on OpenFlux.
- Partnered with PoPP Web3 Lab, a leader in AI-powered web3 social narratives, to launch PoPP AI Box in support of the Conflux Network, enhancing our ecosystem with advanced AI capabilities.
- Welcomed Cwallet’s support for Conflux Network, providing a secure and user-friendly crypto wallet for millions of users, and celebrated this integration with a special giveaway.
- Hosted the Mengli Carnival in Chengdu, featuring four major pet-themed events and minted NFT blind boxes called “PawPal” on Conflux. NFT holders had the chance to receive various physical benefits, including show tickets and exquisite gifts.
Events:
- Our global team, along with Co-Founder Yuanjie, participated in Consensus 2024. We hosted side events with IoTeX, OKX, and Halborn.
- Our global extension lead, Christian, spoke on a panel with the founders of Polygon, Monad, and Ankr, discussing Real-World Assets (RWAs) on the main stage at GM Vietnam. Dora joined a panel on scaling GameFi with leaders from the hackathon sponsors. Their insights on the future of GameFi and Conflux’s role in this evolving ecosystem were well-received.
- We sponsored and hosted the Vietnam Rust Hackathon, a month-long event that attracted over 150 hackers and 1,000+ participants in workshops. The hackathon featured 14 training sessions supported by over 20 mentors. Out of 39 competing teams, 19 reached the final day.
- We served as a sponsor partner at the Encrypted Conference 2024 in Kiev, Ukraine. Community Manager Ivan and Ambassador Maryna represented Conflux at the event.
- Chris participated in a panel at the BUIDL Hour Event by Web3X, discussing collaboration between foundations and projects for ecosystem success. The panel included representatives from Metis L2, Inspex Security, GM² Social, and Digitrust.
- Dora attended the Proof Of Collabs event, introducing Conflux to the MENA community and engaging in discussions that fostered new connections and potential collaborations.
- Chris joined a panel with Aptos and Meta Haven at the New Era of GameFi Summit, discussing the technical foundations of GameFi and the roles and challenges of public chains.
- Conflux Network received the Financial Startup-Gold Award and the Basic Technology — Web3 Infrastructure prize at the Hong Kong Digital Finance Awards 2024. Additionally, CTO Dr. Ming Wu was interviewed by Metro Finance, the organizer of the awards.
Community Highlights
- Successfully concluded round one of the “Spring into Conflux” open call and congratulated all the talented winners who showcased their work during an exclusive X Spaces session, in collaboration with Mintpad, OpenFlux, HUGS, and Swappi.
- Participated in an IoTeX X Spaces event where six DePIN projects, including Roam, Exabits, U2U Network, APhone, and Fog Works, Inc., discussed the future of the ecosystem following Consensus.
- Hosted a Conflux Hub Spaces session on the application of DIDs, featuring speakers from Swappi and Dmail.
- Our Ukrainian Conflux community joined a podcast with Investanutaya to discuss innovations in Conflux, the latest news, and development plans.
- Conflux Russia hosted a voice AMA session with CoinW, discussing future strategies for the Conflux project and plans for implementing BTC solutions at the L2 and L3 levels.
- Conflux Espanol hosted growth manager of SHUI Finance for an AMA, who introduce Liquid Staking project to our Spanish community.
