Infrastructure
Updates on the Public Chain:
- Prepared for the upcoming hardfork, with support for EIP1559 transactions.
- Maintained support for our distributed storage project.
- Resolved issues related to node operations.
SDK:
- Adapted the Language SDKs for the EIP1559 update.
- Conducted testing on the hardfork within the internal test network.
- Developed Geth-style traceTransaction and other RPCs.
Ecosystem Infra Products
SwiftShield
- Developed DApp connection through Wallet Connect, including signature and transaction sending features.
- Conducted wallet research to support EIP1559.
Partnerships
- Teamed up with zkPass to introduce private internet data to the Conflux ecosystem, enhancing data security and privacy through 3P-TLS and Hybrid ZK technologies, while encouraging Web2 users to explore the benefits of blockchain.
- Collaborated with ElastosInfo to streamline Bitcoin transactions by leveraging our infrastructure and Elastos’ cutting-edge BeL2 technology.
- Launched DesigLabs on Conflux, focusing on secure digital asset management with features like zero fees, high speed, and seamless multi-chain handling to elevate user experience.
- Partnered with HaloDotSocial, a Web3 social app supported by IDG, HashKey, and KuCoin. Formerly known as HaloWallet, HaloDotSocial pioneers SocialFi by integrating AI and DID technologies to revolutionize wallet aggregation and monetize social influence.
- Announced our investment in BlockBooster (an Asia-centered venture studio) which nurtures promising Web3 projects, fueling innovation and growth within the ecosystem.
Events:
- Our Co-founder and CTO, Dr. Ming Wu, gave a keynote speech at Bitcoin DevCon in Hong Kong. He discussed Bitcoin’s Layer 2 advancements and Conflux’s BTC Layer 3 architecture, highlighting how Conflux improves transaction efficiency and scalability to foster innovation and growth in the blockchain community.
Community Highlights
- Co-founder & CTO Ming Wu discussed Conflux’s latest developments and Bitcoin L2/L3 initiatives in this month’s ‘Innovators Hub’ episode of our X Spaces series.
- Nico from our team led an X Spaces session on joining the Developer Ambassador program and showcased progress, offering insights to effectively leverage Conflux.
- We launched the Spring artist campaign with Mintpad.co, The Hug, OpenFlux, and Swappi to help artists mint NFTs on Conflux. Artists can submit work on thehugxyz for a chance at a $2500 prize pool and potential airdrops via Mintpad.
- Hosted a BTC L3 Trivia Night on Discord, where participants tested their knowledge based on our latest Bitcoin L2/L3 Medium articles.
- Our Head of Global Marketing, Camilla, joined a fireside chat hosted by Swappi. The discussion explored the differences between specialized and general L1 blockchains, and how Conflux and Oort support DApps and their users.
- Our Conflux Ukrainian community participated in a voice AMA session on the Telegram channel Cryptan UA, discussing innovations in Conflux, recent news, and development prospects. Additionally, they held another voice AMA session with Dohid UA, covering Conflux’s network operations and opportunities for developers.
- Conflux Russia organized a voice AMA session with KuCoin, discussing the future development of the Conflux project and upcoming plans to launch BTC L2 and L3 solutions.
- Conflux Spanish community had an AMA X Spaces session with Bitmart.
