October was a very busy month for us at Conflux Network. We have a lot of great updates and news to share with you in this progress report. Our team worked hard on improving our technology, forming new partnerships, and joining in community events. Importantly, we’ve made significant steps in extending our global reach, connecting with individuals and organizations across different regions. We are excited to show you all the progress we have made. Keep reading to find out what happened at Conflux Network in October!
Public Chain
- Resolved RPC challenges following the v2.3.0 hardfork.
- Enhanced the performance of snapshot storage.
- Completed testing and released v2.3.1-testnet.
- Refactored codes to improve maintenance.
SDK
- Implemented an upgrade to the pos-pool contract, enabling it to facilitate voting within Governance.
- Updated the go-sdk to accommodate the v2.3.1 RPC modifications.
- Progressed in the development of javascript neurahive SDK.
Scan
- Implemented support for exporting token holders.
- Supported a new trace view feature for contract developers.
Confura
- Enhanced the testnet fullnode for better service quality.
- Incorporated support for the latest RPCs.
Account Abstraction
- Conducted research on social recovery and RSA signature verification.
- Researched the paymaster mechanism.
- Improved the efficiency of the bunder service.
Pos Pool Voting
- Completed development and handed it over to the QA team for testing.
- LayerZero Labs and Conflux have partnered to integrade omnichain functionalities within China Telecom’s blockchain SIM (BSIM) card. The LayerZero endpoints have successfully been activated within the Conflux Network.
- Conflux has formed a partnership with Linekong Interactive Group’s premier Web3 gaming platform based in Hong Kong, offering innovative solutions for both game developers and players. NAGA stands as a comprehensive platform, integrating a variety of services including multi-chain game libraries, NFT Launchpad, NFT trading markets, game live streaming, and more.
- MAP Protocol has entered into a strategic partnership with Conflux Network, resulting in a successful integration with Conflux eSpace to facilitate interoperability with various EVM and non-EVM chains.
- Chainsatlas has established a strategic partnership with Conflux Network, enabling the coding of smart contracts in multiple languages to bridge Web2 to Web3, and empowering the seamless transition of smart contract execution across different blockchains.
- GenifyHQ, a leading multi-chain generative art platform, has formed a partnership with Conflux. This collaboration aims to bridge innovative generative art into the Conflux ecosystem, positioning Hong Kong as the epicenter for generative art in Asia and beyond, and exploring encrypted art commerce and the branding of digital assets.
- Lambda Network and Conflux have partnered with the goal of collaboratively exploring innovations in distributed storage technology and supporting GenifyHQ in starting its multi-chain journey from the Conflux Network.
- Formed a strategic partnership with NewTribe Capital. NewTribe will support us with our expansion within the UAE region by facilitating partnerships, connecting with regulators, organizing engaging hackathons, and providing support for local Web3 projects.
Developer Updates
- In Q3, the DualSpace POAP NFTs were made available for minting.
Documentation Portal Improvements:
- Documentation related to New Nodes was introduced.
- Enhancements were made to the Landing Page Feature Cards.
- The Spanish version was enabled, though translation efforts are still ongoing.
- A Search Feature was added.
Online Events
- We have released a series of articles on Medium, exploring the landscape of China’s NFT on Conflux.
- Dora Jiang, our lead in Global Business Development, made an appearance on Talk of the Town, providing insights on the importance of Blockchain SIM Cards.
- Conflux Ukraine had the opportunity to engage in an interview with Payspace Magazine, discussing the legalization of cryptocurrency in Ukraine and the global expansion of the Conflux Network.
- The voting phase for the “Best Blockchain Project” category at the Payspace Magazine Awards 2023, featuring Conflux Ukraine, is now underway. You can vote here.
- We have successfully launched our Developer Workshop Series on YouTube, covering a range of topics including the Tree-Graph Algorithm, GHAST, Spaces, and our Hybrid PoW + PoS Consensus Mechanism. You can view the latest videos here 👇
Events
- On October 25th, we celebrated the opening of our Hong Kong office complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Our aim is to collaborate with local research teams and showcase China’s technological innovation on the global stage, leveraging Hong Kong’s strategic position. - Our Co-Founder Ming and Global BD Lead Dora had a productive conversation with His Highness Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. We are excited to contribute to digital and virtual asset initiatives in RAK and leverage the Conflux Network’s connections to assist RAK DAO enterprises in penetrating the Asian markets.
- We’re honored to have been chosen to represent the world of Web3 at the China International Industry Fair (CIIF) Shanghai, a renowned gathering of the world’s industrial leaders showcasing global innovations. The CIIF is an event bringing together global industrial leaders, with more than 2,800 enterprises from 30+ countries.
- Our Co-Founder, YuanJie, was chosen to speak at the inaugural event of SpringX’s accelerator program season 1 in Hong Kong on Oct. 29th. He shared valuable insights from his personal experience as a founder and welcomed the new builders, committing to guiding them as a mentor throughout the program.
- Conflux ambassador Maryna represented us at the European Blockchain Convention in Barcelona from Oct. 25th to 26th, engaging with blockchain enthusiasts and industry professionals.
- On October 19th and 20th, the Shanghai Tree-Graph Blockchain Research Institute and UOVAMETA co-hosted the Chinese Web3 Ecosystem Summit. The event saw over 50 Web3 experts from various sectors sharing their insights and analyses of the industry.
- Our Co-Founder YuanJie participated in Inno4life 2023 Hong Kong, engaging in a panel discussion alongside Beosin and SUD at the Creative Culture & Innovation Exhibition 2023. They explored the transition “From Web2 to Web3: Shifting Success Factors and Opportunities.”
- The Phoenix International Art Exhibition Center at Multispace Art Valley has officially opened, showcasing its inaugural exhibition, “Butterfly Transformation,” a digital art exhibition from Beijing Design Week (September 21 — October 20). Visitors can now immerse themselves in this exhibition within the metaverse.
- NFiT teamed up with MEI to display the digital sneakers “Youyuan” and “Jingmeng” at Shanghai Fashion Week 2024SS. Additionally, NFiT partnered with designer brand YEARNBOAT to introduce a line of limited-edition running shoes, each equipped NFC technology.
