Highlights:

• Partnered with SmartStateTech, Footprint Data, and Copx_AI to boost dApp security, analytics, and AI-driven trading 🤝
• Attended Mainnet 2024, Permissionless, Cyberport’s Web3.0 Demo Day, and Hong Kong FinTech Week 🌏
• Hosted an X Spaces session with our Core Developer and Lead Researcher to discuss our 3–5 year roadmap.

Public Chain

• Tested and prepared the v2.4.1 release.
• Supported the distributed storage project.
• Worked on EVM compatibility for the upcoming Eth Pectra upgrade.
• Continued to address and fix issues for smoother performance.

RPC

• Optimized the eSpace RPC by rewriting it using an asynchronous framework.
• Improved Conflux-rust documentation, covering metrics configuration and crate layout, to facilitate community contributions.

Developer Tools

• The community launched a new Core JS development SDK, cive (cive.zyx.ee), and the hardhat-cive plugin. This offers developers a consistent experience similar to Ethereum’s viem.

Partnerships

In October, Conflux continued to expand its ecosystem through various partnerships and collaborations.

• At the 2024 Shanghai International Light Festival, visual artist AC Chou showcased his Millennium Flower light installation series at the Radiant Tapestry exhibition. This event featured limited-edition art badges linked to Conflux NFTs, integrating blockchain technology into digital art and experiential installations.

• In educational initiatives, the Shanghai Tree-Graph Blockchain Research Institute launched the first class of the fifth session of the Beidou Program, China’s entrepreneurial camp for university students focused on blockchain. This program underscores Conflux’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of blockchain innovators.
• The unique Punk Code Space Ape designer toys, embedded with NFC chips, allowed users to claim Conflux-minted NFTs with a quick phone tap. Additionally, Punk Ape Cards provided users with a unique digital identity NFT, seamlessly blending physical collectibles with digital assets.
• Partnered with Copx_AI to utilize AI for enhanced trading strategies, fostering a more flexible and responsive financial environment.
• Through collaboration with SmartStateTech, Conflux elevated dApp network security standards, offering developers the confidence to innovate with robust protections.
• Finally, our partnership with Footprint Data enabled Conflux to simplify blockchain data analytics, supporting sustainable, data-driven growth for Web3 projects and expanding Conflux’s reach in Asia and beyond.

• Our team attended Hong Kong FinTech Week, where we hosted a booth to connect and share the latest developments in our ecosystem.

• Participated in Cyberport’s Web3.0 Demo Day at the Cyberport Venture Capital Forum, co-hosted by Cyberport and BlockBooster, where Conflux showcased its Web3 initiatives and discussed its role in advancing digital finance.
• The team attended Permissionless in Salt Lake City, bringing the event to life on Discord with a live stream, sharing insights and event highlights directly with our community.
• Lastly, our Global Marketing team attended Mainnet 2024 in New York City.

Community Highlights

In October, Conflux’s global community continued to engage and grow, bringing fresh insights and activities across various regions.

• Hosted an X Spaces session on “Next Gen GameFi”, featuring speakers from GR1D, Breshna.io, and expert Ilya Abugov. The session, hosted by Matt, offered the community a forward-looking view of GameFi’s potential impact and fresh perspectives on gaming finance.
• Live eSpace and Cross-Chain Bridging Session: Our ambassador, GLM, led a live stream about Conflux’s eSpace and cross-chain bridging capabilities. This hands-on session provided the community with a deeper understanding of our ecosystem’s interconnectivity.
• SocialFi Hub Space: This month’s Hub Space on X featured “The Many Faces of SocialFi,” bringing together participants from Unstoppable Domains, DMail, Push Protocol, and Artrade App.
• Held an X Space on Conflux’s Roadmap, with our Core Developer & Lead Researcher sharing plans for the next 3–5 years. We shared plans for the next 3–5 years, providing valuable insights into upcoming developments and major milestones.
• Our Ukrainian community joined the CRYPTOGEED and Easy Money podcasts, sharing Conflux’s vision and roadmap, and giving listeners a clear look at future plans for Web3 expansion.
• Conflux Russia hosted a podcast with Off Crypto and White Crypto, discussing Conflux’s growth journey and global ambitions, helping the Russian community stay informed and excited about our next steps.
• The Spanish community released the 5th episode of “Conflux Forward” on YouTube, updating the community on the latest Conflux news. An upcoming virtual workshop on Conflux programming was also announced, in collaboration with Yacambú and Badén Powell Universities and the Handshaking community, offering valuable learning opportunities for students in the region.
• The Arabic community had an exciting month! They joined a Swappi Fireside Chat with the Conflux African and Vietnamese communities to talk about building online communities. They also launched an official X account and kicked things off with their first Twitter Space, connecting with new members. The month they ended on a high note with a monthly hangout, bringing everyone together to chat and share ideas.
