Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Correa, Ranking Member of the House Homeland Security Subcommittee on Oversight and Management Efficiency, co-led a hearing investigating employee misconduct and morale at FEMA.

Rep. Correa stated, “FEMA performs a vital role in our nation. When disaster strikes, lives depend on their work. Yet, FEMA is plagued with some of the worst morale of any agency in the federal government, which is not only bad for the agency, but dangerous for the people who depend on FEMA’s readiness. We must work to resolve this. Lives depend on it.”
