Every project you engage in at work with a team or with a partner needs to collaborate. TO solve this problem, we schedule meetings, we have agendas, we take notes (some of us) we email questions to each other, we instant message or we make phone calls.

Some organizations have it together enough to schedule conference calls, web presentation meetings or video-conference… but all of those solutions still require scheduling management and for everybody to “be in the same room”.

Novell Vibe aims to help change all that in a subtly-powerful application with a deceptively simple user-interface: a great big text box!

Novell Vibe brings social-sharing simplicity to the corporate enterprise, with the added bonus of compliance with your IT Security Policies.

The reality is that in nearly every other facet of our lives, we connect asynchronously — time-and-space shifting our messages across time-zones and across the globe. Simple sharing and connecting tools like simple text-messages to multi-faceted Facebook sharing are becoming the way we document our experiences and share them with others.

Novell Vibe, which has been known previously as Novell Pulse, brings social-sharing simplicity to the corporate enterprise, with the added bonus of compliance with your IT Security Policies.

I’m jazzed about Vibe because I like using it. It’s a simple, simple way to communicate and share and work together on things — and I am hiring people to work on the Vibe team as well, so I have a vested interest in its success!
