The RMIT student’s perception of Girona is changing thanks to the different talks that we had. In the first writing they thought that Girona was an old and little town, but now they know that in it there is a union of old and modern infrastructure. Also, now they thought that the life’s city is around the river, just like Melbourne. Another thing that they learn is the importance of the public transport.

In our video they missed the multicultural factor of Melbourne, and the old part of the city, because of, like Girona, this city combines old and modern infrastructure that made it unique, like the English part, or the historic center, or the famous market. Our image of Melbourne changed so much, now we see the city like an international and multicultural metropolis, where the public transport is very important and where the culture is one of the most important characteristics.

Finally, How are connected these cities? We saw that both cities have a lot of contrast with their own stereotypes, because of these are so different in reality. Also, we saw that in both cities, the University is at the center and it is relevant because for both the study is one of the pillars of the town.
