Last week we had a series of communication and discussions with the international group in terms of our final film about street life, we had some simple questions and answers which included a series of options to deepen the understanding of the two cities. The first is about our rough cut part, the theme has been approved and I asked for further plans-I will try to add more mobile shooting to the final film, and I will also make a split screen effect because I found that there are two The footage is similar, one from Melbourne and one from Girona. The Girona group also saw these two footage and thought they could be combined on one screen, and it was a great way to connect the two cities through some special editing methods. After exchanging further impressions of the two cities, it is interesting to note that I have abandoned the concept of “Girona is just a small town” and considered the possibility of Girona from other aspects. As we talked about in conversation, they think my point of view has been further supplemented-with the further understanding of Girona, and at the same time, I also tried to show Girona on another level to everyone through the film.In all the footage, they expressed surprise, because many old streets and craft shops and supermarkets in Melbourne impressed them. They deepened their understanding of Melbourne and they also learned more about the diversity of the city and distinctive traditional lifestyles of Melbourne’s central city, which is very different from what they originally imagined.I think the feedback they gave me helped me a lot, mainly because it gave me confidence about the topic of street life and the connection between the two cities, I can feel that their identification is from the heart. Although we have never been to each other’s city, they can feel some similarities and accidents from our footprint. This is what makes me most successful.
