xPollinate is now Connext Bridge
For the past year, xPollinate has been the canonical bridge UI and reference implementation for Connext. Today, we’re excited to announce that we’re rebranding xPollinate to Connext Bridge, to consolidate our brand identity and to make it simpler for end-users to use the network.
While Connext is a developer-facing infrastructure network, we’ve been thrilled to see users do over $1.2b of total volume through xPollinate.
One of the most frequent feedback we have received is that there was a disconnection between the underlying Connext protocol and a flagship go-to-app for users and developers to experience real trust minimized cross-chain operations.
The Connext Bridge will be added to our suite of products together with the Connext SDK, which remains our core focus in the long term.
The move will increase general awareness of our brand and better demonstrate things you can do with the Connext Network. We are planning to add a section on our website “built with Connext” to showcase all the fantastic innovation that is happening in our ecosystem.
The Connext Bridge UI has also been improving in the last weeks and has received great positive feedback from users. The most recent addition includes the ability to transparently see what fee has been paid to the relayer/router. Expect more of this and a better flow in general in the next days.
Thanks to the efforts of our partners at Coinhippo, the Connext Bridge interface has also been open-sourced and it’s available for anyone that wants to quickly spin up a bridge on the Connext protocol: you can fork it here.
