Children’s Books of the Future, or Now

In my dream, I am reading to my 5 year old nephew.

With each page read, there is a correlating video playing next to us in midair as if it’s a hologram. There is nothing that it’s projected on or nothing projecting it. It is a video that just exists as long as I am reading.

As I read, it plays. As I stop, it pauses.

Even though there is this video going on though, my nephew is still enjoying the book more than the visuals.
