Recently I travelled to visit an old friend in California where I filmed a vlog on how to make a wrap. Wraps make a delicious healthy lunch or dinner, they’re easy to make and you can change them up by simply changing the outer layer or the inner workings….fresh veggies, cheeses, dipping sauces, rice paper, tortillas, seaweed sheets…yum!

It’s a wrap…yes a recipe! Delicious, easy and nutritious food :-)

What you eat matters and has an impact on your health and wellness!

Wraps are really fun to make them with friends or make them for friends!

Although I had been to California many many times before, this was my first time spending time in Northern California. It was beautiful and amazing for a lot of reasons. There was both an earthquake and a tsunami watch but that didn’t make my trip any less interesting. Whilst there, I shared one of my fav recipes for wraps with my hostess and good friend Christine. Here is the video, check it out. Please comment and let me know if you made them or have some tips and suggestions, share with your friends too. Also, please give it a thumbs up if you want to see more like this and subscribe to the channel too. Every little comment, thumbs up and subscription tells YouTube that my channel is trusted and interesting. Your support really means a lot to me. Below the video I have listed the ingredients that were used and provided links to some of the products on Amazon.

Wrappers can be flour tortillas, corn tortillas, round rice paper sheets, seaweed sheets (Nori)

This is the brand of rice wrapper sheets that I use shown in the image.

Suggested fillings and sauces and extras are listed here:

Combine 2 or more fillings. I recommend 3 as a minimum for the tastiest experience.

Fillings

Fresh chopped vegetables: crisp carrots, cucumbers, peppers, scallions (aka green onions)
Fruits: sliced avocados (also works well mashed)
Soft Cheeses: brie, fresh mozzarella, cream cheese
Nuts: Raw Cashew Nuts
Fish: Surami, Smoked Salmon

Sauces and Condiments

Wasabi Paste (I recommend buying a big bag of the dried powder if you are a fan of wasabi.)
Chili Sauce
Jalapeno Sauces
Any Hot Pepper Sauce
Pickled Ginger
Fresh Ginger

For your convenience, I’ve listed below the start times for specific tasks in my how to make a wrap video 🙂

Cool tools to grate ginger 3:15
Cutting an avocado 4:40
Rice Wrap stuffing and rolling 6:00
Flour Tortilla stuffing and rolling 9:15
