Nonfiction and Artistic Aesthetics

If you were to ask a poet about their influences, they would no doubt make a list of poets who and poems which have influenced their thinking and their aesthetics. Ask a playwright, and they will give a list of playwrights and plays. Ask a novelist, and they will give you a list of novels. I write poems, plays, short stories, and novels, and I could easily provide such a list for each.
