The past two years have been turbulent for many Americans and this year’s Labor Day Weekend allows us a sense of reprieve. This time can also be taken to reassess our roles in American society, by learning of the experiences of other Americans and those around the globe who are also questioning not just their role in their native society, but the world stage as well.
