Due to the technical nature of our brand new CSM Chain, we will no longer be using any wallet supporting ERC20 tokens. The wallets that support the new CSM tokens as of now are Digifinex Exchange, Consentium App as well as our new Consentium web wallet. Exonium will support the new CSM tokens at a later date. Please stay tuned for further updates. CSM tokens on Digifinex are eligible to stake on the Consentium wallet! Withdrawal for CSM on Digifinex is now resumed for our community to deposit CSM in the Consentium new wallet to start staking. If you wish to buy CSM for staking, you can do so on Digifinex! (Do note that only withdrawal is resumed on 1st July, not deposit. Deposit will only reopen on 27th July for Swap). CSM on Digifinex are no longer ERC20 tokens, do not send CSM to ERC20 wallets. If you have any CSM (ERC20) in external wallets, please follow our swap instructions and complete the swap on 27th July 2020.

Consentium will be liaising with Digifinex to support swap for external users.

Digifinex will resume CSM (ERC20) deposit on 27th July for users to swap tokens.
CSM holders will be able to deposit their CSM (ERC20) into Digifinex and it will be converted to the new CSM. Swap period will only be ONE WEEK, until 2nd August.
Withdrawal for CSM tokens on Exonium will also resume on 27th July in order for users to swap tokens on Digifinex.
CSM Deposit on Exonium will not be available till further notice.

***Do note that the new CSM tokens will not be supported by any ERC20 wallets such as MyEtherWallet as the new CSM tokens are no longer running on the Ethereum network. Any CSM (ERC20) tokens that are not swapped will not be accepted on any of our official exchange partners. Therefore we advise our community to swap their CSM as soon as possible.

Consentium Web Wallet
Our new wallet will be the main platform for Consentium’s community to stake their CSM tokens. It operates differently from the usual Ethereum wallet that our community is used to, therefore it is important for users to take note of the following steps and instructions provided.

CSM chain no longer uses the concept of addresses, and instead uses accounts. An account is made up of a Public Key and Private Key. Your Public Key can be shared and will be known to the public in order for the network to know your account. The Private Key is to be kept confidential and only account owners should know the private key. Private keys provide access to your account, something like your account’s password. You will use your Private Key to log in to your wallet, and have full access to your tokens. Keep your Private Key safe and only to yourself!

Unlike the usual ERC20 token wallet, Consentium wallet requires users to be invited or approved by an existing member to create an account. In order to create an account for yourself, which will allow you to stake, unstake and transfer tokens across the network, you will need to generate a key pair and reach out to existing account owners to activate your account.

With our new blockchain technology, Consentium will also launch a Explorer site for the public to view all transactions, wallets and stakes within the CSM Chain network.

Setting up an account:

Step 1: Go to https://wallet.consentium.net/ and click on “Generate Key Pairs”.

Step 2: Click on “Generate” to generate a randomised Public and Private Key pair.

Step 3: Save your Public and Private Key pair properly, preferably offline on a piece of paper or thumb drive. ***DO NOT DISCLOSE YOUR PRIVATE KEY TO ANYONE.

Step 4: Send only your Public Key (NOT PRIVATE KEY) to an existing account owner of CSM Chain wallet to create your account. Once your account is created, you may proceed to log in to your wallet using your Private Key! You can now use your Consentium wallet to stake, transfer and store CSM tokens!

Account creation can be done by anyone who already has an existing account. It can be your friends or a stranger (Remember to give Public key and not private key). If you are an existing account owner of Consentium wallet, do help out the community to create accounts! Consentium team will also help with account creation. Details required for Account creation

Public Key (Do not send Private Key to anyone)
Desired Account Name

After an existing account owner created an account for you, you can now log into your wallet account with your private key. After logging in, you can transfer and stake CSM.

For “Transfer”: Transfer tokens from your wallet to another wallet. ‘From’ is your account name and ‘To’ is the recipient’s account name. ‘Quantity’ must be in 8 decimal places. Ensure that when required, the recipient’s ‘Memo’ must be input or it may lead to them not receiving the CSM you sent. ‘Memo” is important for wallets on cryptocurrency exchanges. If you are depositing on Consentium web wallet, your deposit address is your account name and input “A” in “Memo”. This is different from the usual Ethereum wallet address that you are used to. If you are depositing on an exchange or Consentium app, please input your exchange account name and the memo.

How to Stake:

Step 1: Click on the “Private Key” button to log in.

Step 2: Enter Your Wallet Private Key in the “Private Key” field. *Do not select “Remember me” if you have not set a password.

Step 3: Select Your “yourname@owner” account and click on “Select Account”.

Step 4: You’ll be taken to the main wallet page with your details like your Total Balance. You’ll need to interact with the main CSM contract. Key in “eosio.token” into “Contract Address” and click “Interact”.

Step 5: Select “Stake” from the drop down menu.

Step 6: Enter the “From” and “Quantity” and click the “Submit Action” to stake.

“From” should be your account name. “Input Small Letters, not capital letter”
Do take note that “Quantity” MUST have EIGHT decimal places AND need to be CSM. Example. To transfer 10 CSM, you need to enter “10.00000000 CSM” in the “Quantity” field. *Minimum Stake: 10.00000000 CSM

Step 7: Congratulations. You have now staked CSM tokens! You may check your stake on https://explorer.consentium.net/analytics.

Creating Account for other users:

You can only create an account if you already have an account on Consentium’s network. To create a new account, you will require the Public Key of the user who wishes to create an account and the user’s intended account name.

Step 1: Log in to your account at https://wallet.consentium.net/ using your personal Private Key.

Step 2: After logging in, click on “Create Account”.

Step 3: Fill in the form with the following information: -

Account: Desired account name requested by the user. Account name must be between 3–12 characters including numbers, and numbers can only be 1–5.
Owner Key: This is the account owner’s (Account who wishes to be created, not your account public key) generated Public Key. Make sure the person you are creating this account for has his Private Key paired saved in a safe and secure location. Private Keys are NOT required for account creation.
Active Key: Same as the previous step, this is the account’s owner’s generated Public Key. Make sure the person you are creating this account for has his Private Key paired saved in a safe and secure location. Private Keys are NOT required for account creation.
Leave CPU stake, NET stake and RAM purchase (bytes) as the default values.
Ensure you select “ON” for the “Transfer” switch.

Step 4: Done! The account is created and may now be logged in to with the Private Key!

对于“transfer转帐”：将C币从您的钱包转移到另一个钱包。 “from发件人”是您的帐户名，“to收件人”是收件人的帐户名。 “quantity数量”必须在小数点后8位。确保在需要时必须输入收件人的“memo备忘录”，否则可能导致收件人未收到您发送的C币。仅在加密货币交易所的钱包中需要“memo备忘录”。如果您要在嘉信钱包上进行存款，则您的存款地址就是您的帐户名，然后在“memo备忘录””中输入“ A”。这与您习惯的以太坊钱包地址不同。如果您要在交易所或嘉信应用程序上存款，请输入您的交易所”帐户名”和”memo备忘录”。
