Wildlife Baby Shower Event — Ankrolab

Busy Baby Season

All month we have had an ongoing social media fundraiser for the baby animals in our care. Our annual virtual baby shower was held on June 3rd. We received lots of Amazon and Chewy.com packages from our supporters.

Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) Groundbreaking

Conservancy Water Policy Manager Michele Arquette-Palermo attended a Central Everglades Planning Project (CEPP) groundbreaking. CEPP is a component of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Plan and this was the last of the 4 phases of CEPP to break ground.

This critical project will capture water and send it into the central Everglades and out into Florida Bay. Historic levels of funding for the Everglades restoration is resulting in many projects that are making a measurable difference to restore America’s Everglades.
