The annual 24-hour fundraising event will take place February 10–11, 2021
Give Where You Live Collier, a 24-hour fundraising event aimed to celebrate and increase philanthropy is slated to take place on February 10th beginning at noon.
Donations during this 1-day event will support the Conservancy’s mission to protect Southwest Florida’s water, land, and wildlife for future generations. While the past year has brought challenges both big and small, our teams continue their work to move our mission forward every day.
The Environmental Policy and Advocacy team is hard at work to ensure that our region’s leaders have the proper tools to make informed decisions about the future of Southwest Florida. With legislative session right around the corner, there is much to be done to protect and preserve our region’s natural elements.
Our Science and Research team continues their work to protect threatened and endangered native wildlife, while also focusing on the management and removal of harmful invasive species.
Our von Arx Wildlife Hospital admitted a record number of patients in 2021, and is continuing their work to treat injured, sick, and orphaned native wildlife in effort to release them back into the wild.
The Environmental Education team continues their efforts to to provide lessons, materials, and content for teachers, students, and families to learn about the importance of our Southwest Florida ecosystems. Working with Collier County Public Schools and other partners, the team has launched an E-Learning Hub to engage learners across the 5-county region.
