Hey everybody, this week I want to share a VSCode Feature that I really like. And at the End our interesting development related links the team read about this week.

  1. To Switch between split Screens with cmd + 1, 2, 3 etc. (1 for screen one, 2 for two and so on). The nice feature is, if you have two screens open in a relationship like 10% / 90% and you switch between the screens it will adapt the other screen but i guess that needs an example :)

SplitScreen 1 (Cmd +1):

SplitScreen 2 (Cmd +2):

SplitScreen 3(Cmd +3):

i often have many different files open like .js .css .html whatever and it helped me a lot to switch between these files. 🙌

Ok and now the 5 development related Links from this Week. Enjoy reading!

  1. Popular Pens of 2018:
these are the most hearted Pens of 2018 (Codepen), and there are a few really nice pens!
  2. Coding a Carousel with Kevin Powell:
Kevin Powell shows on his youtube channel how to code a carousel with HTML, CSS and Javascript from scratch. He has a lot of other interesting frontend development videos, so enjoy visiting his channel.
  3. Visit the Instagram Account from Samantha Ming:
A nice Instagram Account with a few web basics. She is also on Medium (Samantha Ming).
  4. A german web development podcast called programmier.bar: Programmier.bar is a podcast about everything related to the development of HTML5 apps or native iOS and Android apps.
  5. Eloquent JavaScript:
I’m currently trying to renew and deepen my javascript skills, here is a cool resource.

Thats it for now! Have a nice Weekend and see you next week! 🍺😍
