Starting in 1954, the Bilderberg Group has been meeting to discuss our worlds current events, bring in the most powerful figures into the meeting. Representatives from all kinds of area participate — such as industry, finance, and media. Unlike our normal political meetings, this one is secretive — barley anything escapes the walls after. Bilderberg goes untouched with the Chatham House Rule. The Chatham Rule states:

“ Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s) nor of any other participant may be revealed”

— Official Bilderberg Meeting Website

The Bilderberg website is brief and vague — with about a half page of info for all five pages, its apparent that they are meant to be secretive. What could they be hiding?

This year, the meeting is taking place June 7–10 in Turin, Italy. One third of the participants are from North America, while the other two thirds are from Europe. There topics for this year are:

  1. Populism in Europe
  2. The inequality challenge
  3. The future of work
  4. Artificial intelligence
  5. The US before midterms
  6. Free trade
  7. US world leadership
  8. Russia
  9. Quantum computing
  10. Saudi Arabia and Iran
  11. The “post-truth” world
  12. Current events

With these complex issues, and with having these incredibly powerful and influential people attend, is it a stretch to say that they could be controlling our world? Are they a downplayed version of the illuminati? How big of an impact do these conferences make, and is there a reason not many are talking about it?
