The Daily Mail Is A Platform For Trolls
The Daily Mail has been banned by Wikipedia, claiming “Wikipedia editing community decided that the Daily Mail was “generally unreliable”. This has been shown by the smear campaign that they initiated against Lighthouse Global back in April 2022.
Chasing sensationalist clickbait headlines has turned the Daily Mail into a platform for trolls, and it has become a menace. An article in the Daily Mail calling us “Trendy Life Coaches”, was published on false accusations made by ex-partners. Paul S. Waugh has been the main target of this constructive sabotage.
Recently, Paul S. Waugh and the leadership at Lighthouse sent a letter to the Daily Mail asking for a retraction, because we have documentation, evidence and audios to back up our claim that the article was filled with falsehoods. Paul even invited Mr. Kelly, the author of the article, to his home, to meet him and his family so that they could discuss the accusations made against us. The invitation has never been accepted, which is telling of the degree of investigative journalism they are committed to. There was no investigation done, and even when we submitted a substantial report of the evidence, less than 10% was used.
This has been a powerful learning experience for us all at Lighthouse. Even though these malicious saboteurs and trolls have openly stated that they will not stop until they have destroyed us, 19 months on, we are stronger than ever.
