My journey with ADHD management is still fresh for me. I have had it my whole life, but I also had no idea I had it. So there has been no form of management of it in place for me.

I thought this was just the way I was. As I get older now, I am realizing the importance of many aspects of my health, both physical and mental. It is never too early to start this process. Here I am in my mid-forties trying to figure it all out, and I still feel like such a child in many aspects.

A few weeks ago I upgraded my Apple Watch to a Series 7 model. I have a modest income and purchased it refurbished on Amazon. I need something to monitor my heart rate with a bit more accuracy. I felt this would do the trick.

I have been noticing some issues with a feeling in my chest since I started my new ADHD medication. It felt like an anxiety attack, but honestly, that’s not something I have experienced often, but the feeling was something I did not like. My Apple watch would also be triggered, telling me my heart rate was way above normal for a resting state. It was pushing 125 bpm, and that is not a great feeling when you are just sitting still.
