Panacea for Troubled Times
Between you and the stars,
there is lots of space.
So take your first step.
Between you and your dreams,
there are deeds to do.

Beyond love and hate,
there is a place to be.
We must take the first step.
Beyond life and death,
there is a way to exist.
We must believe.
Beyond black and white,
there are other colors
that we must see.
Beyond pain and pleasure,
there are feelings
that we must realize.
Between now and then,
there is a time
where we must live.
Between here and there,
there is some distance
that we must travel.
Beyond rain and sunshine,
there are moments
that we must experience.
Beyond darkness and light,
there are hues
that we must choose.
Beyond sound and sight,
there are senses
we must feel.
There are things
we can see
beyond sight.
There are things
we can feel
beyond feelings.
Sounds you can see
Sights you can hear
those thoughts we must touch…
those imaginations we must live…
