They said you’d never amount to anything. That you were worthless. A waste of space. But they were wrong. Dead wrong.

See, here’s the thing about people who try to tear you down and stomp on your dreams:

They’re speaking from a place of fear.

Fear that maybe, just maybe, you’ll actually accomplish those big, crazy, “impossible” goals of yours. And that scares them. Because if you can do it, then they have no excuse.

So when that nagging voice of doubt starts whispering lies in your ear, remember this: Only you get to determine your self-worth. Only you get to define your limits. And you sure as heck don’t need anyone’s permission to be awesome.

This is your movie.

You’re the director, producer, and star. Don’t let a few hecklers in the audience steal your spotlight.

Time to crank up that soundtrack of courage, blast away those negative thoughts, and put your dreams in motion. Who cares if you stumble or trip along the way?

As Henry Ford put it:

“Failure is only an opportunity to begin again more intelligently.”
