Reclaiming This Life

Wild and free, wild and free

I know you’re out there waiting for me.

Caged and stuck, caged and stuck

I need out of this, but I’m finding no luck.

Who am I, who am I

A beautiful bird who’s ready to fly.

Holding back, holding back

My head’s in control filled with thoughts of lack.

Go and rest, go and rest

I need to unwind to accept all my best.

Bending time, bending time

From inside my heart to achieve all that’s mine.

Head and heart, head and heart

I feel where I’m going, but when can I start?

Slow it down, slow it down

Stay here and be present, what’s lost will be found.
