Traveling

I’m always gone
someplace, somewhere
my days take me to places
where there is a turnaround
to send me back to where I’ve been

There’s a little bag packed in the back
for that day — that moment when
I don’t turn around

And I go past the end
into another adventure

I will send postcards.

A journey begins with the first step.

I didn’t hear about

Gary Chapin

s’ 100 Poems in a 100-Day Challenge until Day 99. It’s probably better to hear about his success as he achieves it. It’s pretty motivating.

Especially when he said he didn’t actually write one poem every day for 100 days in a row. He wrote one every day that he could and didn’t stop until he reached his goal.
