No, not the ‘Theory’ sitcom. Although there’s probably a decent book in helping children to understand that, now you mention it…

Annabell & Aiden: Worlds Within Us is the third in a series of books that aims to fire children’s enthusiasm for science and the universe. Like the first two books, it’s being funded by a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.

“While gazing at the night sky, Annabelle asks Aiden how the universe began. Their new friend Tardigrade Tom answers the children by taking them on a wild adventure through the beginning of space and time: they marvel at the big bang, and learn how each and every one of us is (literally) made of stardust,” explains its pitch.

“Perhaps more importantly, young readers will learn how we each hold a part of the universe inside us, and are far more special, interconnected, and ‘larger’ than we may think.”

The book looks beautiful, and the campaign has already exceeded its $2,500 target, so the project is definitely happening.

There’s still time to support it though: $14 will get you a signed paperback plus a digital version of Worlds Within Us, with higher tiers of pledge for the hardback; and rewards including putting your name and even your face in the book.

You can find the Kickstarter page here and there’s an official website for more info on the two previous books in the series.
