Most children’s TV shows now have their own spin-off games, whether online, on smartphones and tablets, on consoles or all three. Most of them are still designed to be played alone, but Nickelodeon is bucking that trend.

Living Loud: Lincoln’s List is its latest web game based on a hit show: in this case, The Loud House, which is just starting its second series.

Here’s the blurb:

“An expansive adventure game, Living Loud: Lincoln’s List sees players take on the role of Lincoln Loud as he performs tasks for each of his ten sisters in order to earn his comic subscription. Players will need to use various skills and strategies in order to help Lincoln tick off items on his list. While exploring the house and completing tasks, players can also uncover unexpected bonus items and humorous rewards.”

The fun aspect here is that children can share a link for the game that lets a friend join in: the first player is Lincoln and the second his best friend Clyde.

There’s also a tie-in with the actual TV show: when new episodes air during the week, they’ll include game codes to unlock items on Lincoln’s list in the game.

You can check the game out here: if you (like me) grew up with point-and-click adventure games on PC, you may get a nostalgic pang as you play.
